Deleting part of a figure?

Is it possible to delete part of a figure? I was trying to pose a dragon coming out of a wall of flames, but I can't for the life of me figure out how to get rid of the back half of its body.

    You can make part of a figure disappear by turning it off. You need to find the eye and click it so it is closed.

    I have included a picture of the DAZ Dragon 3 with parts of the body turned off.

    You could also use the Geometry Editor tool to select the parts you don't want, hide and then delete the hidden facets. Obviously this is good for a single still image and not an animation. :)

    Or you can add the "wall of flame" in postwork and get a really nice end result as well.
