Content libary problems.

Hi I am hopeing you will be kind and have patience with me.
It's been ages since I have used daz due to health issues and I've forgotten a lot of what I used to know.
Right, so I have loads of old Daz instalation files stored on an external hard drive, from when I used Daz 3, now I have up graded my computer and also Daz to 4.7 and want to install all my old content.
I've installed a few intems from the hard drive but they don't show up on Daz, and I seem to tememebr that you cold get the content libary to seek them out, but can't remember how to set that up.
Could any one walk me through it please?
