Is the eyedropper in surface tab working in DS 4.15?(solved)

Is the eyedropper in surface tab working in DS 4.15? all I get by cliking ALT+left_cick is the simple color picker, and what I want is to pick colors from a photo and not only select colors from a palette.

It's shift LMB drag, not alt.
