genesis - hiding an ear
i converted a v4 model to genesis. however, with the hair i have and the ear morphs, the hair looks horrible. now, before anyone says "just use a different hair" i can't. why? it is character art, and this hair is the only one i found to match. i don't really like using genesis as it seems extremely limited in the level of adjustments you can make compared to gen4. so i need a morph that can hide a single ear, or someone tell me how to fix this using the regular settings because i'm not seeing it anywhere. i have tried adjusting the ear angle, and that didnt do it enough.

Is the ear morph part of the head morph, part of a whole body morph, or a stand alone morph? If it's just a head morph, or a morph affecting only the ear, you can click on the gear icon on the morph's slider and select Parameter Settings, then in the dialogue turn off AutoFollow. That wills top the morph from being transferred to any fitted items - which may or may not work, depending on what else is changed and whether it needs to interact with other fitted items. Another option is to create an empty morph in the hair that matches the name of the ear morph, which will stop DS from auto-generating its own morph even with AutoFollow on.
Another, somewhat less clean option that gets the job done regardless, is to right click onto the parameters pane and then locate the transferred morph in the parameter tree for the hair and then zero that morph out.
