In the Content Library pane, from the menu select Content Directory Manager. You can then add/delete the paths DS uses to find content. (and of course re-run the "Scan known directories for files" after that.) Remember to do it for both the Poser and DS formats (unless you know for certain you only use one of the two.)

I don't recall if moving content from one path to the other will work seamlessly or if content might go back into unassigned; check a random content thumbnail first to verify before getting carried away.

Also note that the very first DS folder in this list is special, and is where DS looks for data files under certain circumstances. Therefore, if you change this one, you'll also need to manually move the files it's looking for to the new location. I have a content folder there specifically for this purpose that has no actual content installed into it, with an obvious name, to make it easier to keep track of.

If you are installing Bryce content manually, you can install into any location as far as I know. I always install it into an empty temporary folder and then move the content to the appropriate location from there.

I'm uncertain how DIM handles Bryce content installation, as I normally avoid doing that personally. If DIM is putting stuff into Public Documents, I assume you could try uninstalling that content, specify a different location as your installation location in DIM, then reinstall. Remember this affects your non-Bryce content installation location too. I think you might be able to keep changing it back and forth too, but you would have to remember to do that prior to every install.

Bryce itself is not tied to Public Documents in any way that I know of; certainly I've never used that location for any of my Bryce content.

If you choose to manually install and move, if you don't know where everything goes, here is a document that discusses this that you might find helpful: http://horo.ch/docs/mine/pdf/BryceContent_v4.pdf

Sorry, but I also incorrectly assumed you meant for DAZ Studio. Only a suggestion here, but in order to help others like yourself searching for Bryce information, you may consider adding something like "for Bryce" to the end of your topic title.

Just FYI the New Users forum is "staffed" by a team of volunteers who are selected for having the expertise amongst them to help New Users in all areas, so that between us we can help New Users in this dedicated area and get them up and running without them needing to venture out into the general forums.

As regards Bryce Please do note that Bryce is very particular as to where it's content is installed and those parts of the content that are needed within Bryce do need to be installed very carefully, as per this extract from the doc by Horo that Sean has mentioned.

There are some parts of the content that can just be stored anywhere and accessed by bryce from within the program, but the ones shown here do need to in the specific place shown here.

Please shout if you have any more questions and either Sean or I can help guide you.

I also recommend that you study the PDF that Sean linked to.
