IDG Frame Gallery Question

When I attempted to add my own picture to this frame, I could not get the glass to disappear through 'surfaces>picture' or even using delete, through Scene.

The glass interferes with the picture, has anyone else encountered this, with IDG Frame Gallery?

If so, is there another way to remove the glass?  These frames are useless to me, if there isn't.  In this case, I need to remove the reflection and foggy effect of the glass, BEFORE I render the shot.
