Easiest way to fit a right-arm armguard to the LEFT arm?
I just purchased Ad Gladio,

And I was wondering if there was an easy way to fit the armguard (which loads on only his right arm) to fit on his left arm. What would be the easiest way to do this? That way I can have both arms have the armguard (instead of only the right).
Thank you

I took a look at the product and it appears that the arm guard was modeled to fit on the right-side only. Even if you parented it to the left-arm and positioned it, then if you were to rotate it around the Y-axis by 180 degrees it still wouldn't fit on the left arm properly. Just from the promos, it looks like it would bend to the back when moved (backwards) and it probably has ghost bones designed for the right-arm.
Sorry...but if you find a way to make this work, please let everyone know.
If you're under Windows, Dimesion3D has a program which can be used to mirror items in poser format:

I've never used it, but it was used in one of the promos for Arien's Ad Gladio add-on to do exactly what you want to do, so it seems like a good option ;)
anyone tried scaling it on the negative, not sure if it would work, don't have it myself so I can't test.
If you just scale it negatively on the X axis wouldn't it still conform to the right arm?
Huh, this thread gave rise to a sensible problem. I have Dragon Rage for Genesis (http://www.daz3d.com/dragon-rage), a pretty versatile leather set. It comes with an arm guard for the left arm only. It would be great if there was a quick getaround to have an even set. If someone has it and is willing to try, please let me know how it goes, I'm temporarily out of DS.
Yes, but that's easy to fix!
Scale the bracer or arm guard to -100% with nothing else in the scene.
Export to obj.
Delete the old one. Load a G2.
Import the obj again.
Start transfer utility. Use G2 as the source and the mirrored mesh as the target, and click accept.
Now it works on the other side. You can save it to library if you wish, or not.
You won't get any special rigging or morphs that an item has, but that won't matter so much for something like a bracer or arm guard.
Except we were talking about a M4 item initially, not a G2 one...
My bad!
In that case you are out of luck unless you have D3D's mirror utility (which does work fantastically). Otherwise I'd think it would be a lot of text editing a copy of the .cr2 file to rename the bones from left to right or vice versa.
I was considering buying it as it is pretty affordable and seems very useful for poser-format content, and having good feedback from someone who used it is always welcome :)

Yep, right up until Genesis came out I used it a lot! I did a bunch of bandage sets for M4 and V4 back then that would've been nearly impossible without it.
