Carrara 8.5 pro compared to Daz3D studio 4.7

Is there informaton on comparison between these two programs, or comparison of features to choose whether I should seriously consider buying Carrara 8.5 pro?

I have read what I can find. I know there must be something available that is more competent than a user forum posting.

Carrara, doesit do more things, landscapes, etc. and has tools for faster graphic production and automation tools for creating animations.

I DL the Daz3d Studio, which is impressive. I just can't help think there must be something more valuable about Carrara since it has never always been free.

I am thinking ... Carrara could very well be an all inclusive software that includes the features of The Daz Studio, Hexagon and Bryce.
Wading my way through three complex applications and then realizing I could have done all I need with Carrara would be disappointing.

Yes, I realize and have read it many times. Carrara could be what you need, if that is what you need --- LOL

I would appreciate to read something that makes sense so I can make an informed decision. Free doesn't mean much, when the Carrara is reasonably priced. I don't mind spemdomg the money, if efficiency for production is enhanced over other applications.

I may have made this thread and gotten ahead fo myself. I have spent some time on this forums and found what I need to know.

The Carrara looks like a go deal for me, now all I need to do is find a way to get a best price to buy it.
