Refraction in DAZ

Hi all

I have a question about refraction in DAZ: 

In real life, when two materials have the same index of refraction and one is placed inside the other, it essentially becomes invisible. See this video to see what I mean: 

Attached is a picture of two basic geometric objects in DAZ with the same water shader loaded. I've tested this with many shaders with varying amount of transparency and translucency. As you can see, despite having the same index of refraction, we can clearly see the pyramid inside the cube. 

My question is: why is that? And a further question I have is whether it's possible to achieve the effect seen in the video above in DAZ?

    This would be a feature of Iray, not of DAZ or Daz Studio. You might look at some documentation from Nvidia for Iray to see if there is anything that might help
