Importing Skyrim Objects to daz3d?

Hello,

is it possible to import Skyrim objects to daz3d? the files are aviable via the client or just from pages like Nexusmods, there are awesome castles or other objects, a outfit would be too much work, but a simple object I can move around would be nice, also how complicated would it be to adjust the surfaces?

My main wish is to have a Castle or maybe also citys where I can move around, part by part in a Story (using a script to center the current location).

My Main wish is a Castle with interior, that I can also show what is inside (indded with hidden stuff outside, just a HDRI for the light or whatever.

Thanks for any knowledge.

We have such castle: https://www.daz3d.com/winter-castle but it doesnt have an Interior addon.

It would have to be in OBJ format to import and then you would probably have to reassign all the textures again once imported.

I would say, that doesn't look like obj :/ is it possible to make that useable in daz3d or is it too complicated?

  • Daz Studio will import OBJ format, and DAE format, among others.  But yeah, you'd have to find a converter for Nif to Obj or something.  From a quick DuckDuckGo search, seems to be several online converters availale.

Just download the latest Nifskope version, open the .nif file with it and under File>Export you can export it to .obj format.
