Most all non-Dforce Hair breaks when posing character

This is something Ive never been able to figure out. Is this just the nature of things or am I doing something wrong?

I will load a character fit them with hair and then pose. In almost all instances on hair that is past the shoulder in length, the hair breaks at the shoulder with a dramatic zigzag shape. The example below is Adria Hair but it happens on all shoulder length hair that is not dforce. I have tried everthing i know to solve the issue. Even to the point of converting hair to a prop and "posing" it with mesh grabber

Any help appreciated.

    Have you simulated after posing?

I do not know what that means for non dforce hair.

So the answer has to be no.

That tends to happen when one puts long hair for the previous generation on the current generation. It's trying to follow the shoulder's position. I would recommend, loading the hair without the figure selected, then use the translate dials to position the hair, and then parent it to the figure's head.

Sorry, I vaguely caught the "dForce" in the title and confused myself. I agree with zombietaggerung now that I have reread the question.
