If the HD character doesn't list the HD base shape as a requirement then it shouldn't need it. in that case I think the character predates the HD add-on for the base shape. There isn't a separate HD figure, these are morphs that affect the placement iof the sub-divided base mesh rather than only the cage as standard morphs do.
Mayuree is a unique morph, so contains regular morph information as well as the HD stuff. It's essentially a new character for the Mei Lin figure. So, you just need Mei Lin.
Mei Lin HD takes the original Mei Lin and adds HD qualities to her without changing anything to drastically. It'll still be Mei Lin, but it'll be a higher definition version.
There's no special requirements to use HD morphs aside from the base figure it lists and Daz Studio 4.
