Freya 8 Issues

I'm not sure if anyone else has this issue, I did a search and nothing came up, but Freya 8 will not install via Daz Connect. It seems to install, but when I go to use it, it only shows an 'Update' button. I do the update, but it nevers changes. It shows to complete, but I still get the same screen. I can never seem to select anything for the character.

Anyone know of this issue?

FYI, I have uninstalled and reinstalled it as well. That did not fix it.

    That seems to happen with some things, sometimes it goes away sometimes it needs a ticket. Try

    1. uninstalling (right-click)
    2. finding it in Conetent Library>Products
    3. right-clicking the "folder">Delete
    4. Goofflineif on, then go back online
    5. Reinstall

    If it still fails please open a ticket.

    Well, I tried all five (5) steps and the problem persists. What's odd is it takes almost an hour for the package to install.

    Yes, if the files are not being found then the process does take longer as DS has to wait for a timeout each time. Support is usually able to fix these, though I did have one that they simply gave up on and made DIM/Daz Central/Manual-only
