Problem with weightmaps on characters in animation

HI

To get some degree of soft body physics i have added an weighmap to my model to use in animation.

i have an animated scene where one character is touching the character with the weightmap.

it works great and the body reacts to the other characters hand when its pressed to the body but as soon the hand lifts to touch other parts

it sucks the other characters body with it.

just like sticky dough.

i have tried with different offsets for the surfaces and got the other characters hand to not suck the body when its moved away but even here

when the hand moves up the characters body with the weightmap dont go back to its original shape.

 

if you have any tips on how to solve this it would be great

    A weightmap on what? A weightmap just determines how much effect soemthing has - a dForce property, a dFormer, a joint bend, a push modifier etc. - it doesn't directly change the mesh itself.
