Simulating from memorized stutters

Hi there,

So, recently, whenever I simulate hair, clothes, you name it, from a memorized pose or between frames of the timeline, the simulation goes on 3% by 3% with freezes, (not responding) in between.

It ends up responding every time but it's making everything quite slow. And it didn't use to be like that.

The same simulation on a current frame, without memorized pose, takes litterally a couple seconds.

It seems the animation makes some part of the computing unresponsive, or very slow. then catches up, add 3%, goes on that unresponsiveness and on and on.

Any idea of a parameter I could check regarding that?

It's getting annoying. Also I did lower quite a bunch of setting from the simulation panel, hence my current frame simulation been done in seconds.

Thanks

The first thing I usually check when dforce gets weird is whether the animation is causing intersection of geometry, especially the start pose of the cloth not being too close to the figure mesh.  After that, it really depends on what's in the scene and how it's animating.
