Hi, When I first installed DAZ there was a simple maquette type figure on the view port.

What happened to this figure? Can I get it back. I'd like to play around with that figure if possible. But not sure how to bring it back.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Alex

That was (probably) the Genesis figure (original Genesis, that is). It's still available. Assuming you have Genesis Starter Essentials installed, you can find it in Smart Content under Figures, or in the Content Library under People>Genesis

If you don't have Genesis Starter Essentials installed, you can either use the Install Manager, or else download it from your Product Library...it's free and should already be in your product list.

Hi, Thanks for your response. It seems I was actually confusing the Poser Base character with DAZ.

But now I am wondering can I export that Poser Character into DAZ and use it?

I have to do some medical illustration for work, and that base character resembles the sketches I have to recreate in high quality.

    It is possible?

I just loaded him (Andy2) in Poser 10, and saved as a PZ3 (Scene file) and imported that into DAZ Studio.

Genesis Poses seem to work on him too :)
