Did you try the old Install Manager?
Are other applications installing OK? What security software do you have installed? If your computer wouldn't start, which I assume means launch Windows since it ovisoulu worked to reinstall, I would wonder about the ehalth of the disc drive or the interface.
Blue screen of Death really. i haven't seen that since the mid 90's in chat channels of the old says, i didn't think win nuke was still around...lol honestly blue screen of death usually means a memory issue your PC is having, you might need new ram or a new PC.
I have had old hard drives file dump in blue screens before the whole drive just went Kputt! I haven't had any issues with my new PC, using SSD.ME evo drives now, old school drives with spinning discs don't exist in my PC, so could be your Hard Drive on the way out, check for bad sectors.
ya all my other program installed perfectly fine
its funny cause my pc is an 8gb ram computer (i think. 8 or 800) and has up to almost 1tb storage and the program has always ate my memory like freaking groceries and now it doesnt want to installanything that has to do with the program
So you only got one BSOD, then it started okay? Did you see any error message such as can't find boot device? Maybe as Richard says there's an intermittent C:\ drive failure.
First thing I'd do is go to Security and Maintenance/Maintenance/View Reliability History and see what's been going on in Windows and applications and updates, etc., for the last days/weeks. Also I heard there's been problems with the latest Windows 10 update KB5001330 that came out in the last couple days (what else is new?), but Reliability History will also tell you about that.
