V4 clothing to G2F: dresses become pants, tops become missile launchers

Hello everyone. After spending years as a vibrant Aiko 3 defender, I finally listened to the voice of many friends, and upgraded to G2F. However, I am quite puzzled by how the auto-fit tool converts V4 dresses to G2F, and also how G2F clothing is adapting when fitted to other members of the G2F family.

Let's take an example, seen below. I own G2F, Lilith 6, and the Victoria 4 for Genesis 2 Female addon. I load the V4 Fantast Wrap (http://www.daz3d.com/fantasy-wrap-for-v4), and in the Auto-Fit options, I choose Victoria 4 (or Victoria 4 skirts), I keep the type of item at "none"... and I get the result you see below. Upon checking, I also noticed that all the non-v4 bones have been removed, as if the auto-fit tool ignored all the existing rigging to just brutally adapt it to the G2F morphology (see the scene tab on the left)

My other issue is with the chest: adapting V4 clothing to G2F, or even using existing G2F clothing and fitting them to more voluptuous characters like Lilith are causing some disturbing oddities on the chest, as if Lilith was first coating her breasts with honey, glue or another sticky substance before putting on her clothes This happends on 2 aeras: below the breasts, and between the breasts, suppressing any spandex effect and causing some wrinkles to appear between the breasts. I have tried to follow the Fitting loose clothing from V4 to G or G2F tutorial, but without success.

Thank you,
Oceliane

Point 1: If you want to keep custom bones you'll need to use Transfer Utility. Here's an easy tutorial.

Point 2: Happens with everything, all the time, that doesn't have a custom for the morph currently dialed in, whether native or converted. I've made two products that help with this, one for just breasts:

    http://www.daz3d.com/clothing-breast-fixes-for-genesis-2-female

    And one for entire FBMs:

This can't be readily fixed in DS without use of a modeling software (as far as I've ever found, at least) because it requires editing the generated morphs.

First of all, thank you very much for your quick reply! I've tried to follow the tutorial, but failed miserably...

First, when I load V4 clothing (as poser format), the figure doesn't appears in the transfer utility items: static props and other imported.obj files may be selected, but not the figure. In the scene tab, if the figure is three plain stacked box, you cannot select it, only if they are holllow ones (genesis-optimized, I guess). I first have to do Edit>Figure>Rigging>Convert to Weight Mapping if I want to see them appearing in the transfer utility.

Once in the transfer utility, I followed all the steps... But ended up with something like you can see below.

Regarding the two morphs packs, they look highly promising! They should join my runtime on next paycheck. :P
