Why does my new 8.1 figure have gray skin?

in Technical Help (nuts n bolts)

Just purchased the new Gaia HD 8.1 figure and she renders all gray. When I apply other figure skin material to her they show up. What am I missing that is preventing me from seeing her native materials?

    Daz studio 4.15 is the version you are using?

    Yes, for the new PBR Skin sahder to work you need to be on 4.15.x.x

    THANK YOU KINDLY. Really appreciate you taking the time to share the info. I always assumed I'd get an update notice through SmartContent but I guess that doesn't apply to the application itself.
