Can't connect to past saved scenes

The scene .Duf will be represented by an icon in the scene selection pop out window. . But when you click on the file, a exclamation point comes up to say that the file cannot be found.

I then navigated to the file where Daz says that the file cannot be found and there the file is on my hardrive, in the right spot?! .

If I load straight from the hardrive folder file then Daz will say that atleast 25 or more files are not where there should be... But the same thing will be true of those files.

I suspect you may have a problem with your content directory set up - please go to Edit>Preferences, go to the Content Library tab in the dialogue, and click the Content Directory Manager button; in that dialogue, expand all of the entries under Current Directories and post a screen shot of what you get here. Also please post the location to which you are saving your scenes.

Well, you can merge the Data folder in the Main User Account, and the \Runtime\Textures folder if there is one, with the other and that will cure the missing file errors. As long as the Data and textures are in one of the listed (mapped) directories, in the right sub-folder, scenes should load even if they aren't themselves in a content directory. But presumably you don't want to have those multiple folders - which account is the one you actually use, the MainUser one?

Main user one is the one most used

within the main user I found two document folders. It seems things are rather jumbled

Try seelcting each Documents folder in turn, then click in the address bar (where the folder names are separate by triangles at the top of the window) - I think that should give you the literal path which may help to sort things out. Windows isn't giving the second Documents folder the special icon so it isn't treating it as "My Documents", but the Auto_Adapted folder shows that DS is using it.
