Parent hair to head imported from Diffeomorphic Daz importer in Blender

I have imported a Daz character into blender using diffeomorphic tool. Merged all the armatures.

Imported all morphs.

Now I want to add an object as hair. When I parent it to the characters mesh and I turn the head it wont turn with the head.

If I move the character mesh it follows. It just wont follow when I rotate the head

I created an armature on the hair object. But then I need to parent it as a child to the armature of the head. But I can't see which bone in the armature is used for the head.

When I move the mesh to see the armature it doesn't show a bone. Yet I can still pose the head in pose mode.

I have converted the rig to Rigify in Blender.
