Daz Central Content Installation Tangle

I had to do a clean Windows re-install a week or so ago, which also necessitated re-installing all programs and applications. Since then, Daz Central insisted on creating a new folder path for Daz content, and I need to:

1) Merge the new content installed into my original content file path

2) Get Daz Central to install new content to my original content file path

My content (and most data) is and has always been stored on a separate data drive (D:), so was not changed or deleted during my Windows re-install. I've attached a screen shot of my settings in Daz Central. Thanks for any help!

Correct content file path: D:\My DAZ 3D Library

New content file path created by Daz Central: D:\My DAZ 3D Library\Applications\Data\DAZ 3D\My DAZ 3D Library

Use Install Manager rather than Daz Central if you want to customise https://www.daz3d.com/get_install_manager/

Okay, thanks Richard. I used to use DIM but when Daz Central was released I thought it was replacing DIM so I switched. I used Daz Central before my Windows re-install too, and somehow got it to install to the correct location. I guess I'm not clear on why there are multiple software tools for this.

If you install Daz Central after DIM it should preserve DIM's settings - installing it on a clean machine, however, will have it use its default behaviour of just selecting a base location with everything else going in a sub-folder.

    Ah! Thanks, that helps.
