character texture in viewport and render suddenly look different.

After a normal render I went back to change poses (no settings changes or anything, just pose) of my character and noticed it looked much different in the viewport, this high gloss almost burnt look. I ran a viewport preview and another render and they too were much different. So I closed Daz and reopened, then loaded two random characters, one being the base G8 female. Same effect happened (hope you can tell by the snap shot). I have no idea what happened here but I can't use Daz like this. Anybody have any ideas? The viewport is on "texture shaded."

    the default viewport is only an approximation of what the actual render will look like, you can't expect too much of it. if you need high quality preview you can enable "NVidia Iray" assuming your materials are set up to use the Iray renderer.
