changing the coloration of LIE Tattoos

Hey there, I have a question...

I bought Fire Walk LIE Tattoos and I LOVE LOVE LOVE it..  However (you knew this was coming because I'm in a help forum)  On my light skinned models it doesn't show up nicely.. kinda fades into their skin.  Is there a way to change the coloration of the tattoos  in order to make them show true?

I appreciate any and all help, thank you

You could use a second, solid black layer in LIE, with the same mask (assuming there is a mask on the tattoo), and set its blend mode to multiply to adjust the tone - vary the opacity to vary the effect (or use shades of grey instead of black). You could also try a second copy of the tattoo layer, again set to Multiply, to darken the effect with more account of the original colour. You can open the Layered Image Editor in the Surfaces pane's Editor tab, from the image selection menu to the left of the colour picker.

If the tattoo is only applied to the Diffuse Map, but your character uses a high value of Translucency, try adding the tattoo to the translucency map as well.
