"Show in..." menu item not working

I have 2/3 problems, I think might be related.
If, in Smart Content, I right click an itme and chose "Show in content Library", nothing happens.
If, in Content Library, I right click an item and chose, "Show in Mapped Folder", nothing happens.

It seems to be a problem with characters loaded by DIM.

A bunch of them, when I look at their items in either library tab, have a (2): in front of their name.


Can anyone suggest a fix?

    it sounds like your database has become messed up.

    Have you tried using the dropdown menu in the Content Library pane, and selecting 'Content DB Maintenance', then tick the box 'Remove Orphaned File References', that can work sometimes. You could also try the one just above that as well to get rid of Un-Mapped Base Paths.

    Are you using the new PostgreSQL database which you can install with DIM, or are you still using Vanelntina/CMS?

    That one, followed by a restart, seemed to do it...when i chose it, it popped up some paths to folders I've gotten rid of and merged..

    I have no idea.
