Hi,
I am running the free version of Daz 3D and am looking into expanding it with some 3D models. Do they work in the free version, or would I have to purchase the package?

    There is no paid for version of DAZ Studio at the moment, what you get for free is DAZ Studio Pro 4.6, the latest version complete.

    There are free models that come with DS4.6, Genesis Starter Essentials, and Genesis 2 Starter Essentials as well as lights and shaders. Did you download and install those as well?

    You can buy other plugins for DAZ Studio in the Store, but they are not necessary to load or use any of the models that are sold here. There may be some items in the store that are Poser only, but most things work at least in DAZ Studio. If you are not sure of anything, just ask in the New Users Forum her, and someone will be able to help you.
