Big Jacket Outfit , hair

I have had bad luck with some hairstyles. The Sara hair and the Ponytail ... the problme is that they won't render. Despite the color I use the hair renders chalky white. Unable to resolve the issue with tech support I finally gave up using those hairstyles. Then one day by mistake I used a Jolina hair color and BOOM the colors rendered. What the? I've been forced to "adapt"

Now the big jacket outfit. The halter and skirt renders just fine but the jacket does not. No matter what color I use that thing renders chalky white. What am I doing wrong? I render in 3Delight BTW

Any suggestions or thoughts that can get the jacket to color?

You are using products that only come with Iray materials and rendering them with 3Delight. Some Iray shaders will convert to 3Delight better than others. You should apply 3Delight shaders to the surfaces, if you want to use the product in 3Delight. Read the product page of new purchases carefully to see if they come with 3Delight materials. If they don't, and fewer and fewer do these days, you may have problems rendering them in 3Delight. It is not a product error, since the product page does not say it includes 3Delight materials.

There is a free conversaion tool

There are two paid for tools, one is here

I've used both and they work well enough, however as Barbult said, converters don't always convert every texture, in some cases you have to add your own shader or texture file in surfaces.

There is also a converter at Renderosity called Convert It - Iray to 3Delight however I have never used it so can't say how it works
