DAZ3D Studio 4.6 Without Plug-Ins

What features do you get with the basic DAZ3D 4.6 Pro install? I know that it comes with a trial version of Animate2 (that reverts to Lite after thirty days), and I think it also comes with Puppeteer, but other than that I'm stumped.
Can you morph base characters within DAZ, or does that require an outside program? Can you animate characters talking in DAZ (and match it to sound files), or does that also require a plug-in? Then there's the question of walk/run cycles, physics controls, rendering, etc. (You get the idea.)

Not included, except for stitching AniBlocks together for walk cycles.
3Delight is the built in renderer and is included. So is the basic version of the Dynamic Cloth plug-in, which can load and drape OptiTex clothing but lacks the ability to directly edit cloth parameters (it can use presets created by others) and wind/adjustable gravity. The rigging tools for creating new figures are included. Map Transfer, for moving textures between supported UVs, Texture Atlas, for compacting multi-tile UV mapping, DForms, magnets, Align, for lining things up and spacing them out, scripting and an editor, node-based shader editors (one for interpreted shaders, one for compiled, and various light and surface shaders are included.
Thanks for the info.
If I may ask, why isn't LipSynch included in the 64 bit version?
well you can buy Mimic live and that works in 64 bit too
Technically, the LipSync plugin was developed when DAZ Studio and most peoples PCs were only 32 bit. With the switch to 64 bit a complete recoding of the plugin would have been required in order for it to run under 64 bit DAZ Studio. The LipSync developer obviously took the time to recode the standalone (non plugin) version to run natively on 64 bit systems since that could translate into revenues. However, with DAZ Studio and the plugin being distributed for free, and there being other development priorities, the plugin remains 32 bit only. (You can run 32 bit apps under a 64 bit operating system, but not a 32 bit plugin inside a 64 bit application. If it was a must-have for you, you could look into running both a 32 and 64 bit installation of DAZ Studio, although certain measures would be required in order to avoid conflicts)
That was going to be my next question, would it be possible to install the two versions side by side?
If needs be, I'd be perfectly content doing everything else in 64 bit except LipSync. Otherwise, I'd leave the 32 bit version alone.
You can have both 32-bit and 64-bit installed -- they share the same settings and don't conflict as long as the version numbers match.
Problem solved, then! :cheese:
