Environment Locking?

How the the environment of a current opened scene be LOCKED so that when a new scene is merged with the open one, the new scene environment does NOT overwrite the current open scene?

Driving me nuts that any merging obliterates the current environment settings.

Thanks!!

Have you checked your DS settings? I think you can disable that behaviour in there.

  • Not seeing it ... but I think the alternative is just going to have to be saving the Render Settings as a preset then re-loading the preset after a merge.

    Thanks!!

    A) Click the padlock that's in the corner of every Daz property.

    B) Save the environment as a preset and load it as often as you like.

Select and copy the Environment Settings node, load the new scene, paste the settings back to the node. If you find the settings changing without having done that you can now undo adding new content.
