I am also completely new here. :) I only have experience in Maya modeling program and I want to learn animation in DAZ.
I read some stuff on the net about DAZ and I took the book The Complete Guide to DAZ Studio 4 2013, I have some tutorials that was available ang text from GOfigure3d. I have a basic idea of how the DAZ working, but that all is not enough. Honestly, so much of information from various sides I found taht is quite confusing. In my environment, no one is using DAZ, so I do not know whom to turn to. Could someone please help me - what tutorial should give me all the necessary knowledge about this? If you could tell me what is actually required of all this plugins so I can start making short animated films. What should I buy for start? What I really need to start with animation in DAZ? Or can someone please give me instruction where I can find all this information.

All you need to start with short Animation is included in DAZ Studio.
DAZ Studio includes a trial of Animate.

If this is what you need you can buy the Full Version.
