In that case you need to make sure that the weights are the same for the whole of each button, so that they move as a unit - you should be able to use the Selection Analysis tab of the Tool Settings pane to get the weight of the mesh where the button is attached, and then fill the whole button with that value.

It's when I pose the figure.
