Can't add eyelashes

I have been working to create a character and she is really close, but I noticed that she doesn't have eyelashes, and I don't know why.
I tried adding eyelashes from multiple different characters, even the basic Gen 8 figure, and it just won't seem to add them, and I can't figure out why.
I'm not sure why she doesn't have them in the first place. I don't remember deleting them, especially since this character is supposed to have very bold eyelashes.

Try reloading the base Genesis 8 Female, then select the lashes and in the Parameters pane change their Fit To from the base to your character.
I was confused for a second, but I loaded the Gen 8 character, moved the lashes to my character in the scene tab, then changed the fit to in the parameters to my character, and proceeded to delete the Gen 8 figure.
That worked, thanks.
The bigger question...
Why isn't there a duf for loading the lashes directly in the Starter essentials?
and i'm off to make a new preset to avoid this issue in the future.
You already have one, Content Library under People > Genesis 8 xxxxx > Anatomy (swap xxxxx for male or female).
When they created G8 they changed how the Character preset save system works, they added a "Post Load" option to it, this allows you to select addons to be loaded at the same time the figure is being loaded, eyelashes, eyebrows, genitals, they can all be added, the main problem is that most people have no idea it even exists let alone how to use it.
This error seems to occur, if you don't remove the lashes you did apply from other characters with the included "remove" duf but just delete the whole base genesis 8 lashes. When i removed the character lashes by the remove dufs and then delete the base lashes after, the error doesn't occur.
