Where do I get G 8.1 F ?

in Technical Help (nuts n bolts)

The male version just appeared by itself. Where & how do I install the female version? None of my 8.1 females are working. Help!!

    It's in the "Genesis 8 Female starter essentials".

    If you haven't updated that, run DIM/connect/central, and install the updated version.

    If it doesn't show up in DIM, Try a manual download and install from your "product page" in My account.

    Question about this--why doesn't Genesis 8 Essentials show up in DIM or CC? It's in my library online, and apparently some templates are showing up in Daz Studio, but the actual Starter Essentials appears to be missing.

    The Install Manager Ready link doesn't appear to do anything at all. In DIM it just asks if I want to save the filter, then does nothing regardless of whether I click yes or no.

    When I download the zip folders manually, there's nothing about what to do with it after download. Are we just supposed to intuit our way to using these files?

    I don't use any of the installers (only manual), but from what has been written here, they should be found in "Power Pose Templates"...

    Everything that you can find in "Content" folder of those zips, should be extracted to corresponding folders in the root folder of your Content Library. You will find exactly the same folder stucture there.

    Thank you. Why anyone would categorize the essentials stuff inside "Power Pose Templates" rather than following the old convention of categorizing everything under "Starter Essentials" is beyond me. But who am I? Just an angry lunatic ranting for no good reason on the interwebz. I appreciate your quick answer.

    My bad, it's actually categorized under "Genesis 8 Male PowerPose Templates"--both male and female, 8 and 8.1. Like this library wasn't difficult enough to manage before.

     And people wonder why I manually install everything and don't use CMS or Smart content.
