Dress does not work with sitting poses

Hi,

I struggle right now a bit and... that frustrates me :(

I use this:

https://www.daz3d.com/dforce-peasant-dress-for-genesis-8-females

When I use any sitting poses, the bottom part of the dress doesn't angle.

It have a JCM for sit, but that seems to not work correct.

Changing from autofollow to redirect does also not help.

I loaded the prop new, maybe the weightmap was wrong but... nope, it still happen.

I can try to move the regions manually but that also doesnt look good.

Any advice for me?

It is a dForce item.  Have you run a Simulation on it yet? Doesn't appear to have. You might need a chair or object for that cloth to reat to as well.

Most dresses don't adjust automatically to sitting poses (or even leg poses), they either have "sit" morphs or various morphs/bones to adjust the skirt pose manually.

Another option would be to use a dForce simulation (not sure if a simple simulation from default pose would work or if you'd need an animated one to go from a standing pose to the sitting one).

I did try with disabling the shins/feet for dforce, but that looked wired, without that it would not dropp correct.

Maybe... it will work with memorized Pose, I should try that.

okay update, I wanted to try with the memorized pose but... it start IN the block ;(

I think the best thing I can do is just use a other pose, then the lady will just not sit :/

The product is fine. You need to do an animated simulation with the timeline and start with the block moved away. Then move the block under her as the animation progresses to the sitting pose. Watch this tutorial, especially around 39 minutes.

but my problem with timeline stuff is always, it brings me into problems with other figures in the set :(

I wanna "play" on timeline 0.

Ok I think that will work, will try to work on Frame 30 then, I make comics so I have a lot shots with the same setting, thats why timelines are most times a problem :(
