I keep getting this error

DAZStudio.exe caused ACCESS_VIOLATION in module "C:\Daz 3D\Applications\64-bit\DAZ 3D\DAZStudio4\dzcore.dll" at 0033:00000000D9AAA2A1, DzMaterial::updateUVList()+161 byte(s)

it happens randomly sometimes when i am rendering an image, and the last time when i tried adding a geoshell to an actor.

  • More than likely there is one asset in the scene that is causing a conflict.

    If you have the scene saved, load it and delete one asset at a time, until daz either doesn't crash.

    Once you determine the asset, then you can test if the asset itself is the problem or if it being in a scene with other assets is the issue.

    Might also be the shader/materials used on it.

    Sometimes i've gotten this error when using custom shader networks that just don't work with each other.

    save often, save regularly.
