Need Help with Carrara 8.5

Hi Guys

i have installed the DAZ3d Studio 4.5 and also get the Carrara 8.5 Software installed (used the Download Manager). In Carrara the smart Content (Browser) is emty, doesnt matter what i try (unistall, reinstall).
In the browser "smart Content" only appears under "products" a "D" "DS 46 Bulletin Content" which is also emty...

Has anybody an idea, what i am doing wrong.

would appreciate yor help...

    Smart Content relies on CMS (Content Management Service) to be running as a Process before it can populate the pane.

    When you installed DAZ Studio, did you also install PostgreSQL as well? If so, that is the problem, carrara will only work with the older Valentina/CMS configuration. You should still be able to view all of your content in the Content tab inside Carrara.

    Do you get an error message in the Carrara Smart Content pane/ If so, can you please post a screenshot of it?

    Did you add the Content libraries to Carrara using the File/Folder Menu at the right hand side of the lower tab?

    this was a great help and solve my Problem.

    What I have do now:

    1. Deinstall ALL the DAZ Content (uses geek removal Software, wich removes also the hidden files).
    2. Download and install the Download Manager again.
    3. Then deaktivate therein the Box "Install After Download"
    4. Download my Files and avoid to install the "PostgreSQL CMS" (just dont check the box...)
    5. Then install al my Content

    and...

    now it works perfect. Again, thanks JimmyC_2009
