Need boots help

Hi,

Wondering if anyone could help me. Been a while since I used Poser.

I'm using Poser Pro 2014 and Figure Victoria 4.2

I have these boots from RPublishing called Rogue Boots. It appears the boots are made for V4 but when I conform them to the figure here is what they look like. Any suggestions would be great!

Thank you

Does the product come with a foot pose?

I looked and it does not appear to have a foot pose.

I can't tell from the image if the figure is in a zero pose or not. You might try this:

-first, zero V4 using the zero pose command in the figure menu
    -conform the boots
-zero pose the boots, also from the figure menu

Unless there's something else wrong, this should fix the problem. After you get the boots to fit right, go to the Edit(?0 menu and choose memorize and then figure to for the boots and save to your library. The new saved boots should fit correctly the next time you use them.

Do the boots have toe bones? If not they may expect you to bend the toes to fit, or you may be expected to simply hide the toes and feet (since the boots are solid you won't see that the legs end at the ankles). Posing the feet to fit the boots, morphing the feet to fit shoes (high-heels especially) and simply hiding the feet are all very common methods of handling footwear.

Contact the vendor and make them aware of it. They may have a fix for it.
