Iray renders started coming out blurred?

Hey everyone,

Recently did a full windows re-install on my rig after a motherboard upgrade.  However, my Iray renders now come out sort of blurred, not crisp or sharp as they used to. Also seems to render much faster, but no matter how awesome time savings are, I like my renders to be as realistic looking as possible.  At the moment they seem to have an almost 'painted' look to them.

Here's a quick test scene I set up - note the tiling on the flolor isn't right, and the reflections are somewhat blurred.  I have uploaded a full sized render here

I have played around with the filter type radius, and always get the same results. Also happens when I turn off the camera's DOF. Actually happens when I render using the perspective view too!  It's obviously a setting or something that I'm not familiar with, so any pointers would be most welcome.

As always, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Just to give an even better example, I have zoomed in on the remote control laying on the floor. Here you can hopefulls see even better the issue I'm having regarding blurred textures...

    Denoiser perhaps?

Blurred renders with artifacts that render very quickly, what are your render settings, max time and max samples?

I also suspect the denoiser being the culprit.

    Here are two images.

The first one with the denoiser activated. The preview looks a bit blurry.

    Denoise on

The second one with the denoiser off. This preview looks crisper.

    Denoise off

Note : with the Denoiser off, you need to render a bit longer, or more iterations for the noise to disappear.
