Buttons or keyboard to select cameras?

I'm working on a picture and have set up a lot of cameras to help with posing and so forth..

I'm finding the program will lag often, or just basic interface issues, when going to the camera pulldown.

Is there a way, either through keyboard commands, or like a panel with buttons, to be able to just press something and switch cameras? (ala how a realworld director/console would say "show me camera 1, show me camera 3" and press buttons to switch?

Any products or scripts that set something like that?

You can create a camera preset for the selected camera. You can make a folder/subfolder for presets for what you are working on. If I'm working on a project, I will do a folder for the project and then relevant subfolders. Do one for cameras and then save as a camera preset or use the plus (+) sign on the Content Library tab and choose Camera Preset and selected camera with your camera selected in the Scene Hierarchy.

Switching between cameras in the scene would be trickier. You could fairly easily write a script that would go to the next/previous camera, but with a lot of cameras that wouldn't be likely to save any time compared to using the drop down. While writing a script to switch to a camera with a specific name would also be easy it would require a different script, and so shortcut, for each camera - and you'd have to be disciplined about naming if you wanted to use the script repeatedly.
