Not having a good day...

Hi again all,

So, now I have an issue with directories and content manager.

I can find everything in my daz library etc but when I use the content manager to search under 'products' all I get is a list of empty frames.

They are labelled but don't contain anything.
For example:
products
M
Michael4 Base
Nothing... Just empty panels with descriptions.

If I hold the cursor over a panel, it tells me the file path is c:/ which obviuosly isn't right but I am stumped as to where I go or what I do to change it.

Was is something I did wrong when installing?

Thanks in advance,
G

Have you uninstalled the content and reinstalled to a new location? Have you moved your content manually? Where are the files, and what are your content directories?

    Hi,

DAZ 3D 64bit (public) is installed under c:/program files as normal. Both the DIM and the Content Directory Manager are pointed at users/public/documents/My Daz 3D Library (Daz and Poser).

    I've also pointed CDM for DAZ to user/documents/daz3d/my daz 3d library and C:/program files/daz 3d/daz studio 4.

It is a new installation on a new PC using DIM.

    Windows 7-64.

Interestingly, w7 doesn't name the user directory as my old vista install, it's either users/public or users/user

All the directories appear correctly in the content library but they don't appear under products.

Again, thanks in advance for any pointers.

I think this may be a runtime thing, where should it be pointed at for poser files ?

Same path as for DS-format, the folder CONTAINING the Runtime folder. And you don't need Program Files listed.

Also, keep in mind the "Public Build" is the Beta, the general release just says DS4.6.

Thank you all for your help, I think I've sorted it now.
