Small block when rendering mirror

I'm trying to render an image which looks head-on into a mirror using Nvidia Iray. Everything is going well EXCEPT that every time it renders, a small solid block (it's been white and black) appears in the exact place from which the perspective is looking. So if my Viewport is viewing the scene from coordinates (X,Y,Z), if those coordinates are visible in the mirror, a solid, block will appear there, ruining the render.

Has anyone encountered this? I'd believe that there's some setting(s) that needs changes when dealing with mirrors, but I cannot find anything that prevents the block from rendering.

Thanks in advance for any help.

  • Have you tried turning the Auto Headlamp off (in the general group of Render Settings' Editor tab? If that doesn't help please post an image, with clothing added to the figures if necessary.

  • This fixed it. Thank you so much.
