I was wondering if there is anyway to tell exactly how TALL my figures are? The Genesis 2 has a fine "height"-parameter, but that is just indexed in -1 to +1 ... it would be nice to see how tall the figures is in meters/feet.
The simplest way is to load a null and move it to the top of the characters head. The "Y" axis value in the parameters tab will show you the height in cm.
There is also this freebie Measuring Wall if you don't need "exact" measurements, or you can purchase Measure Metrics from the DAZ store for more precise measurements. Another option, similar to Gone's suggestion is to load a 3d cube, available in the Create menu, and set the units to inches or centimeters or feet, etc. Then just size the cube to match the height of your figure/object and you can see the measurement in the y axis reading.

A 1 square meter plane would be better than a null as the plane is more visible.
