You should be able to right click inside the keyframes (where all the little black and red lines are) and there's an option named "save as new"
Click that option and give it a name.

I meant there is nothing inside the aniblock created, empty?

Actually I can't see "Save as New " jsut yet, all i can do is save as aniblock, and then only to find that there is nothing inside it, so even if I copy and paste on another character, there is nothing.

    you did it wrong
you should make your keyframes in DS timeline
bring up aniMate timeline - right click - then choose make aniBlock from DS timeline ( second one )

Or in animate, right click next to the figure or object's name in the timeline and select add empty block. Then set your animation and right click it to get the "Save as New"
