@Linwelly I did post it as an atachment the thing removed it yet again. :/ I've been having major issues posting attachments yesterday for some reason. I'll try again today to see if it sticks.
@Shinji Ikari 9th very colourful light settings. Maybe check maybe the settings of you grid, that seems to reflect the shape of your character
@Linwelly, how's this? I did some changing to the grid, more texture work in the background, and added the fallen form of the foe our character took out shortly before we ended up where we're at now.
Thanks Linwelly, I have played a little with emissives and tweaked the bloom. I am in that place where I want the magic to be spectacular but don't want to wash out the detail. Any ideas?
@Aki3D - I do everything Linwelly says but remove the word "thumbnails" from the address when I open it in another tab - that seems to give better results for me.
@katywhite I think you need a greater intensity to your ligh, if you want the outer parts to be darker you could try vignetting which you can find in the tonemapping
@Linwelly
Thanks for the tip! I've increased the intensity of the light and try the vignetting like you suggested setting at 3. (and hopefully the image sticks this time I keep getting the same error message)
Sneaking a submission in for the intermediate challenge right at the last second. Nothing fancy, I just had some fun playing around with gobo lighting. It turned out pretty cool, if I do say so myself!
had lots of truble trying to get the dress sitting properly with dforce so gave up and took out some bones and posed it with dformers. The brest area still looks of.
I do not have time to finnish the first image properly, so would like to take it out. The one i am entering i have been working on for a few weeks now, just playing around with canvases different lighting and such.
A lot of lights in this scene. Gobo lights to project the hearts down, as if the club is projecting them.
The corridor walls however are part of the texture, not lights.
The more time I spend on Daz, the more I realize that the scenes I think work best have people front and centre, and absolutely as close as possible. I make myself zoom in now and work to frame the scene so it is as close as possible without losing essential details. I briefly thought this was about Daz, but now I realize it is just reality. The further away someone is, the less they look like a real person!

Maybe the file size is to large. I had the same thing going on until I resized my image or convert to jpg to get them to attach.. So some one should know the limit.

Taken - Version D
Intermediate Challenge
For this version I widened the beam as suggested by Linwelly and "floated" the shoe off as suggested by my wife.
