Members Only Forum (Solved :D )

Because of the glitch my PC Club membership wasn't automatically renewed and lapsed.

Due to budgetary reasons I didn't renew it immediately but was able to do so yesterday. For some reason the Members Only forum still doesn't appear :-S

Would be grateful for any help or advice. Not sure if I should open a ticket on this :blank:

It may kick in at midnight DAZ 3D time -- you may need to log out and back in before it will show. If it doesn't I'd submit a ticket.

Seeing as the topic is here, n00b question from my assumption. I thought the "Members Only" was for PAs, Admins, Daz3D staff, and that elite bunch, not us mere, (rolling off tongue like "pezzente") end-users, like me :-/ . Is that assumption wrong?

    True dat

The first time I joined I had access immediately. There was a glitch that prevented recurring billing and the solution was either to cancel then renew or let it expire and renew. I wound up doing the latter.

Not sure if this problem is due to that glitch or something else ;-P

I joined the PC+ club after having cancelled my PC membership two years ago. One week later, I still don't have access to the Members only section :(

I have had a ticket in with support since last Monday (I gave the system 24 hours before putting in the ticket) , but so far, they have only reset my PC+ membership and suggested I clear my browser cache and cookies. I even tried several different browser/OS combinations, but I still do not have access.

Your profiles should now be updated to give access to Members Only.

Can't get into PC forum. It's only been an hour or so, but IIRC it used to be instant.

I took me a little over a week after I joined before I could access the members only forum. I think something is broken in the PC+ membership process.

I put in ticket in the help center and all they tried was resetting my membership and telling me to clear my browser cache. It wasn't until RIchard did something on the forum side that my access to the members section was restored.

If he does not answer in this thread, maybe you could PM him or one of the other moderators.

The store shows PC prices but still can't access the PC forum.

Still no access after support "reset my account", and now they want me to install a different browser...

That's exactly the same response I received when I opened a ticket with the Help Desk...except I already had the other browsers installed.

Like I said, I did not get access for over a week after (re)joining and then only when Richard Haseltine, a forum administrator, saw this thread on the forum and did something to update the profiles.

There seems to be a disconnect somewhere that is preventing new PC+ members from automatically being granted access to the forum and the Help Desk proposed solutions are definitely not working.

They have now reset the membership and account again, still not working. Here's hoping I'm not missing anything good.
