Rendering problem - seek your help and advice
-After going through the 'Gia Tutorials' Made below rendering with Genesis 2 and Victoria 6 default figures.
-Almost all the light and other settings for the scene are as per Gia Tutorials.
- Used Uber Environment Default HDR KHPark Lights and Y-Rotation -25 and Occlusion color 140-70-70
- all environment and light settings are same for both figures
Only below light setting Changes are made.
- UE2 Lights intensity 60% for Genesis 2 and 30% for Victoria 6
- Rim Light Intensity 160% for Genesis 2 and 100% for Victoria 6
on Genesis 2 Figure face shadow effects occurred (Also seen in V6 Right side of the face) - how to eliminate this shadow effect.
on Victoria 6 Face has Glow effect and also the skin textures differs from the rest of the body - Why is this effect?
Where I can Improve for better Rendering. Your valuable suggestion will help me in for better rendering.

Gia Tutorial is much useful for beginners and made easy in setting up a scene for rendering, only the basic and few setting are shown in the tutorial. If same can be made for Genesis 2 or Victoria-6 with downloadable scene file will be much helpful, so that we can see the other settings as well.
Thanks

The glow is caused by internal lighting. This usually happens when you have a light source that doesn't cast any shadows. Try switching your lights to raytraced shadows and see if the problem persists.
I agree with HeraldOfFire and would add that the differences in the two renders are due to the fact that Genesis 2 Female base and Victoria 6 default skin textures use different shaders...the odd glow is a result of using the Age of Armour Subsurface Shader together with lights not set to Raytraced shadows.
By the way, for others who stumble upon this thread, the Gia Tutorial can be found here. I highly recommended giving it a try, although complete beginners may wish to go through a few of the Interactive Lessons first.
hi, HeraldOfFire
you mean , setting 'raytraced shadows' type for Key-light and/(or) rim-light (both distant lights)
shadow - shadow type - raytraced (software only)
for UE2 - settings :- Basic - Environment mode - to which settings ? pls

did few Only lights set-up test rendering with below settings and all ohters are default settings, still I could see the glow in the face of Victoria 6.
Face Textures differs with rest of body textures.
Setting:
- Key-light (Distant Light) 85 % intensity
- Rim Light (Distant Light ) 165 % Intensity Light blue color
- Spicular 1 and 2 (distant light) 60 and 40 % intensity with Illumination set to - Specular Only
- UE2 intensity 25 % with HDR KHPark loaded
- Others are default settings

Hi, Scott-Livingston
Thanks for the links
Thanks
All your distant lights (including specular lights, if I recall correctly) need to be set to Raytraced (shadow type) in order to get rid of the glow. That's what I'd recommend, however if you'd rather not do it that way, Victoria 6 also has a preset to turn off SSS on the inner mouth.
For UE2, you can experiment with different settings (most of the time I use Occlusion with Soft Shadows or Occlusion with Directional Shadows). I don't think any of the UE2 settings would contribute to the glow you are seeing. There is a very detailed, in-depth thread on UberEnvironment2 which is worth checking out if you want to learn more about the various modes: http://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/5320/
Thanks to both of you for your assistance

Hi, Scott-Livingston,
Thanks for the Tip about the SSS
- Made new scene with Victoria 6 only and with Previously mentioned light set-up.
- even after changing the setting the SSS shader for Inner Mouth,Gums,Teeth and Tongue (Diffuse to 0%, Sub surface Off-Of to '0' and Sub surface strength to 0%) still I could see the little Glow effect on face and finally HIDING these in scene pane, I could able to remove the glow effect. But still the Face skin texture differs with Body skin textures.
- changed few setting and Light color for Key-light and UE2 and did quite number of test renders.
- In my previous renders the images were Out-of focus, the Camera setting were as per Gia tutorials, found these are not proper for my scene changed and accordingly and did final rendering with high quality settings in Advance Render pane.
and the my final renders are below.
