Just bought the Vic 8.1 model, tried a test run and something is wrong.
In the render, the middle model is Vic 8, the left Vic 8.1 HD and the right Vic 8.1, but no details.
can anyone give me a heads up at what im doing wrong

Do you mean the textures? The Genesis 8.1 skin shaders need a relatively new version of DS to work. Which version of DS are you using?

these files are missing from the zip too so it will not load properly!
Download the updated Starter Essentials and Default Resources for DAZ Studio 4.15
Victoria 8.1 requires DS 4.15
They're not missing from the zip as they're not part of V8.1 but required base items: Genesis 8.1 Female and the PBR skin shader.
You need to install the latest version of Genesis 8 Female Starter Essentials to get G8.1 Female, and of DS default resources to get the PBR shader.

these files are in fact MISSING what solved it was using DAZ central and selecting to use Victoria 8.1 in the scene central will show the two missing items and ask if you want to download them. do so.
manual download and DIM do not include the files with the character (kind of a LARGE oversite for a flagship product launch)
They are not missing, since they are not part of Victoria 8.1.
Some of those files belong to "Genesis 8 Female Starter Essentials" and some are part of "Default Resources for DAZ Studio 4.51", you need to update those to have the "missing" files.
decided to reinstall Daz and now looks like it works
I am so delinquent in seeing if any of this 8.1 stuff works, lol. I will thank the, after scratching my head why a figure dial wasn't showing up in the shaping tab, tried clicking the Tia load thing in the smart tab and got the same barrage of missing file errors. Was a bit confusing why there were no 8.1 starter essentials when I went looking for it months ago in DIM, and I was a tad bewildered as to just what 8.1 was to the point of thinking it was just some Iray surface shader voodoo Nvidia-code-magic. I thought I had everything 'needed' aside from the ever-growing pile of Gen3 and older "undocumented updates" for stuff that appears to work fine. Just sift through the mountain of undocumented update stuff in DIM, there is a "Genesis 8 Female Starter Essentials" somewhere probably. I did that, I now get Tia instead of the weard stack of white cubes and errors, lol.
