I've been into Daz3d for a few while but only really started to get into the program recently! I have recently got a new workstation PC and just added a second PNY Quadro 4000!

Cooler master Cosmos 2 ultra case
Asus p9x79 ws motherboard
i7 4930k cpu with liquid cooling
32GB Kingston HyperX 2400Mhz DDR3 ram
2x PNY Quadro 4000 2GB
1 Kinston HyperxX 480GB SSD
1 Kinston HyperxX 240GB SSD

I'm running windows 8.1 pro I also have Poser 10 Bryce Hexagon Carrara 8.5 pro and have Blender installed!

I'm hoping to learn the basics intermediate and then try doing some more advanced stuff, I just need to get organized and learn the stuff in a more disciplined manor!

Hopefully with a nice PC and some nice software and models I shall be able to make some decent renders in the not too distant future!

Hi Chris! I have to envy your computer I must say. I'm sure your going to find loads of useful information here on the boards and if you don't find everything you need you can always ask for help. People here are very good about that.

It's nice and fast but seems to have a problem with sli, I don't seem to be able to configure the sli which I hear is a problem with windows 8.1. Has anyone else had this issue?

With SLI you can use more than one nvidia graphics card, my motherboard can have upto 4 Graphics Cards connected at once to increase the performance! If you have a renderer that uses gpus it will make your renders a lot faster!

Ohh.. Ok. Fraid I am no help with that. My laptop is windows 8 but not near that fancy.
