Unable to add dForce modifier

As the title says, I am currently unable to add the dForce modifier to items. I'm using 4.12 Pro and simulation for items with 'build in' dForce works just fine; I just can't add it to items that don't have it yet.

I've searched the form and came across this thread:

I checked the places mentionend there (Simulation Settings options,  Edit>Object>Geometry, Edit>Figure>Geometry), but I couldn't find the 'add' function, alas. It's strange - I'm fairly confident I had the option when I just started to use 4.12. Restoring the Simulation Settings pane to defaults doesn't seem to help.

Try Window>Worksapce>Update and Merge Menus.

Ah, that did the trick! No idea why it was needed, but it worked :-)

It's used to add new commands to the menus, without losing your own customisations.

I never knew about this, just thought it was another glitch Daz had to fix, thanks Richard
