I have been lusting after that Grecian Goddess outfit in the store. Though it isn't for V4, being on sale I decided to grab it anyway.
Since I needed the top to rig it to V4 for a project I have wanted to do it was a good opportunity. The problem is the main reason I have been putting off getting it aside for the fact it isn't for V4, is the DSON importer thingie. I have never used the DSON importer and always read horror stories from so many others who have tried with bad results I have been reluctant to try and wrap my gray matter around its use.
So is there a WAY SIMPLE tutorial (gotta be 3rd grader simple folks!) I can find on how to use the DSON importer for Poser2014 Pro so I can play with this way cool outfit? :)

Install the DSON Importer (should find Poser automatically, but check the path)

Install both the DSON Core and the Poser CF files for the products you want to use to a Poser content library - that is, to the folder that contains the Runtime folder. You should end up with a Data folder and one or more other folders (People, for example) alongside the Runtime.

Find the content in your library and load it.

    oh!
i thought yu had to do the import function from within poser as if importing a .obj or .3ds file.
Along side the runtime? so all the unzipped folders don't all go into respective folders in the runtime folders?

There will be the usual textures folder in the Runtime folder, and one or more folders in Libraries, but the Data folder doesn't go in Runtime no. The other folders (People, props etc.) that aren't in the Runtiem folder are not usually needed but I don't want to say "you can delete them" in case you run into an exception.

Sorry for being so darn dense, but I am still dithering with this. I am still not sure where this DATA folder actually goes. Since I have to install all my purchases by hand on a Mac I need to know exactly where to put stuff for it to be found. Some folders are free floating in LIBRARY folder for exmple and textures dropped in their original creator folders in the TEXTURE folder or MATERIALS Folder to be found by the Pose files etc and some I can rename to make easier for me to locate Poses, Characters and morphs with all the stuff crammed in my Runtime Folder. So if I reread this instruction correctly, the DATAFolder and People Folder don't actually get put IN the Runtime Folder but are Separate folders placed Along side the Runtime folder within Poser?

The Data folder goes in the same location as the Runtime - so for example, I might place mine in the Smith Micro/PoserPro 2014 Content/ folder.
